TO OBEY A TYRANT is a blackened deathcore band hailing from the South Coast of England. Rising rapidly after the release of their latest Ep “Frigore Inferni” (2025) through Seek and Strike records, the successor to “Omnimalevolent” (2022) They have since been rampaging the scene with no remorse, touring all corners of the United Kingdom and being billed with some of the biggest names in the scene.
TOAT display to their audience a collaboration of staple genres within the extreme music industry, such as: deathcore, slam and symphonic deathmetal. Priding themselves upon their grisly story telling lyrics of malevolent entities and deep rooted serpentine events; each song is filled with a wide range of demonic, bloodcurldling vocals, skull splitting slam riffs, relentless double bass drums and crushing breakdowns, all accompanied by the eerie, eldritch orchestrations that resonate the darkness that is To Obey a Tyrant.
