From the County Durham area of the North East of England they have established themselves as a top ranking and insanely popular tribute to METALLICA. 

METAL MILITIA are an established headline act around the UK and have topped the bill at many of the biggest Tribute festivals in the country including the likes of all of ‘UK Tribute Festivals’ events as well as been head-hunted specifically to play the official METALLICA pre-show event before their appearance in London in October 2017 and again in 2019.
November 2023 saw the band officially acknowledged and contacted by none other than Lars Ulrich and the rest of METALLICA to let them know they are doing an incredible job of being a Tribute to them!
