The Partisans
About the Event
EXCLUSIVE UK DATE 2026
The Partisans are a Welsh punk band formed in Bridgend, South Wales in 1978 while still in their early teens. Emerging as one of the UK’s most vital early punk acts, they channelled the raw energy of Sex Pistols, The Clash and Ramones into explosive singles like “Police Story” and “17 Years of Hell”, both UK Indie Chart hits.
Their 1983 self-titled debut cemented their place in the underground, blending melody with ferocity and earning acclaim across punk press and fanzines alike.
After splitting in 1984, original members Rob “Spike” Harrington and Andy Lealand reformed the band in the late ’90s, continuing to deliver their signature high-intensity sound to new generations. The current line-up features Magnus Neundorff on bass and Charlie Claesson (of Anti-Cimex and Driller Killer) on drums.
Decades on, The Partisans remain a relentless live force - pure, unfiltered punk energy from one of Wales’ finest exports.
