Led by Sarah Nutting and Karisha Longaker and joined by longtime touring collaborators Scott Elliott Ferreter and Nate Dittmer, the nationally touring folk-soul group brings together rich vocal arrangements, multi-instrumental mastery, and songs that speak directly to the human experience.Born from a creative partnership forged in Northern California in 2008, MaMuse draws from the folk and gospel traditions while creating music that feels distinctly their own. Beloved originals such as We Shall Be Known and Hallelujah have traveled far beyond the stage, finding their way into community choirs, weddings, funerals, birth rooms, places of worship, and gatherings around the world.Since forming in 2008, MaMuse has released six full-length albums and toured extensively throughout the United States, performing at theaters, festivals, retreat centers, houses of worship, and community venues. Their seventh album, This Is the Venue, arrives in August 2026 and marks a new chapter for the group.
