Free Tools for Bands & Promoters

Everything here is free, works without an account, and is built on the same live gig data behind our listings. Made for the people who actually put shows on — bands naming themselves, promoters announcing a bill, venues who want their calendar on their own site.

Why these five

Every one of these started as something we were doing by hand. A promoter would email asking for a poster template. A band would ask whether their name clashed with someone on the listings. A venue wanted their dates on their own site without re-typing them every week. Rather than answer one at a time, the answer became a page.

If you are starting a band

Run the name generator for ideas in your genre, put the shortlist through the name checker to see what is already taken, then build a free press kit to send to promoters. That is the whole path from an idea to something you can email a venue, and none of it costs anything.

If you are putting a show on

The gig poster maker turns a lineup into Instagram, story and print-ready artwork in about a minute, and it can prefill from any gig already listed on Moshradar. If you run the venue or promote regularly, the events widget puts your whole calendar on your own website and keeps it current on its own.

What we get out of it

Honestly: the posters carry a small Moshradar credit, the widget links back to us, and bands who build a press kit here tend to keep their listing up to date — which makes the gig guide better for everyone reading it. That is the entire business case. There is no upsell behind any of these.

Questions

Are the Moshradar tools really free?

Yes — no account, no trial, no watermark fee. They exist because Moshradar lists gigs, and the people putting those gigs on need posters, names, press kits and listings. Building the tools is cheaper than advertising to them.

Do I need an account to use them?

No. All 5 work signed out. An account only adds conveniences: the poster maker can drop the Moshradar credit, and claiming your artist page lets you edit the bio and contact details that show up on your EPK.

Can I use what I make commercially?

Yes. Posters you generate are yours — print them, sell tickets with them, post them anywhere. You are responsible for holding the rights to any artwork you upload, and a clear result from the name checker is a strong signal rather than legal advice.

What data are the tools built on?

The same database behind the listings: 4509 upcoming shows across 60 UK cities, 1917 venues and 5862 artists, aggregated from several ticketing sources and refreshed daily. That is what lets the widget stay current and the poster maker prefill straight from a real gig listing.
