Have been itching to announce this one for ages. Pilori will be no strangers to folks who enjoy blackened / post / grind and anything heavy.
Their latest album 'Sans Adieu' came out in April and they're embarking on a tour to showcase the new material. They've been touring relentlessly, with over 200 shows under their belt, supporting some of my personal favourite acts like Full of Hell, Sumac, Wormrot, Agriculture, Primitive Man, Oathbreaker and Inter Arma. In true DIY spirit, the band has been managing themselves with no booking agents.
Supporting them are two of the best UK avant-garde black metal acts going, Still and Acceptance.
Still's latest release, 'A Theft', blends avant-garde black metal, chaotic hardcore and experimental noise.
Acceptance's first full-length release, 'Crucifixion of Orchids', is a perfect example of how to blend raw emotion with an incredible amount of horror, transcending traditional black metal.
