About Metal Timeline
Metal Timeline deals you one card at a time — an album, a festival, a moment in metal history — and asks where it belongs among the cards already on the timeline. Place it right and the timeline grows; three wrong calls ends the game.
The history cards are written and checked by us. Album cards come from the Spotify data behind our music pages, with remasters, reissues and live albums left out so their years are the original release.

Questions
What if two cards happened in the same year?
Either side counts as right — a card only has to sit between an earlier or equal year and a later or equal one.
What happens when I get one wrong?
You lose a life, and the card moves to where it really belongs so the timeline stays true. Three lives a game.
