Originaire de Dallas, au Texas, Frozen Soul s’est imposé comme l’un des groupes phares du death metal old school moderne. Formé en 2018, le quintette développe un son glacial, lourd et sans concession, marqué par des riffs lents et écrasants et une atmosphère sombre, inspirée de groupes comme Obituary, Mortician et Bolt Thrower.Après une première démo remarquée, Encased In Ice, le groupe signe chez Century Media et sort en 2021 son premier album, Crypt of Ice. Entre hommage aux racines du death metal et puissance brutale, Frozen Soul impose un véritable mur du son, aussi froid qu’efficace.
