Leader of Down is an English Rock Band created by the late Michael Würzel Burston (RIP) of Motörhead (guitar) and Tim Atkinson (bass). With their first two albums 'Cascade into Chaos' and 'The Screwtape Letters' they made a name for themselves worldwide and received rave reviews throughout Europe and the US. They were mixed by Motörhead Grammy winning producer Cameron Webb. On tour their music takes on a whole new dimension with the incredible amount of energy they deliver from the stage. Lemmy (Motorhead) and Dennis Stratton (ex Iron Maiden) are special guests on their singles 'Paradise Turned Into Dust' and 'Hitman', but their guests also include numerous other legends such as Withfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), Phil Campbell, Fast Eddie Clarke (Motorhead), Lee Richard (ex Godsmack), Bruce Foxton (The Jam), Kim McAuliffe (Girlschool) and Cliff Evans (Tank). Leader of Down signed to Cleopatra Records in 2022 and are currently working on their third album, which is due out in 2027.
