London's own symphonic power metal titans return to the capital. Since their debut supporting Tarja, Pythia have been a "power player" in the genre, lauded by Metal Temple (9/10) for their "extreme symphonic power metal" that eschews traditional operatic clichés for a heavier, darker edge. Now fronted by the "impeccable" Sophie Dorman, they bring the thundering riffs of Shadows of a Broken Past and the "enchanting melodies" of their recent Unhallowed trilogy to the stage. Expect a set that Ever Metal describes as a "mesmerising escape" from reality. VANITASSelf-described as "Periphery meets Disney," Birmingham’s Vanitas are the pioneers of "cinematic djent." Following the success of their 2025 EP Journey to the Sun, Noizze UK praised their "instrumental wizardry" and charismatic frontwoman Jade Maris. Emerging from the capital's underground, they have quickly made a name for themselves with a theatrical approach that balances epic scale with biting metal intensity. Fresh from high-energy appearances across the UK club circuit, they bring a "loud and heavy" reputation (Club 85) that perfectly sets the stage for a night of metallic storytelling.
